Woodrising
The pretty village of Woodrising is set in woodlands, south of Dereham. St Nicholas Church had a tower that fell down 200 years ago and itsm bell is now in the corner of the graveyard, within a thatched shed. The inside of the church itself is well maintained and contains an eclectic mix of furnishings and architecture from different centuries. In the chancel there are tall portraits of Moses and Aaron holding the tablets of stone.
