Three Holes
Three Holes is a very small village lying just within the Norfolk boundary, on the A1101 between Ely and Wisbech. The village is roughly 8 miles from Wisbech, March and Downham Market, and was originally known as 'Wadingstow'. Up until a few years ago, Three Holes was a very popular destination with fishermen, attracting anglers from as far as Yorkshire. Today the rivers are fished to a lesser degree, but still stock roach, pike, bream and eels. Three Holes has a playing field, village hall and public house, as well as a general store.
