Situated 10 minutes south of Norwich, off the B1332 Bungay Road in Poringland, The Playbarn is a fun-packed indoor and outdoor play centre especially designed for children aged 7 and under. This farmyard-based adventure centre for younger children is open throughout the year and has previously won National Farm Attraction of the Year.
Indoor activities at The Playbarn include a giant climbing frame, soft play area, beach barn, ball pool and quiet areas to read and relax. Outdoor activities include a tractor courtyard with ride on tractors, an outdoor climbing den, electric tractors, barking diggers and electric sand digger. From Easter through to October pony rides and tractor rides are available on certain days and the children’s farm is open from Easter to October half term.
Snacks and light lunches are available from the Playbarn’s coffee bar and there are lots of indoor and outdoor areas to stop, relax and refuel. There is a large car park and easy access for the disabled. The Playbarn caters for all types of family and group parties and can be hired exclusively if required.
The Playbarn has its very own Riding Centre and these ponies attend the Playbarn for pony rides and pony trails. If you would like to book a longer ride or a lesson, you can do so by contacting the Riding Centre – details of which are on The Playbarn website.
